The materials coordinator is the person for : • Interface daily with Maintenance On-Site Representatives (OSRs) to ensure coordination between heavy maintenance requirements and the required parts • Maintain a list of all part requirements, they are required by dates and the order status • Coordinate with the MRO and client buyers to ensure parts ordering responsibilities and priorities are fully understood • Monitor parts on order and expedite pacing items • Receive all supplied/owned parts into the materials management system against the appropriate transfer, purchase, repair, exchange or loan order • Issue all inventoried parts to the requesting aircraft tail number • Document and catalog all removed unserviceable components • Coordinate with OSRs and client Quality Control (QC) representatives to determine scrap vs. repair action • Process all unserviceable material with appropriate repair or exchange orders • Ensure parts are properly packaged and shipped to the appropriate repair provider • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager Material Planning.

Ensure that all items of work are recorded and signed out as per DATS and/or the Operator procedures prior to sign the maintenance release; Inspection and certification of aircraft and/or components in accordance with the standards, regulations and procedure as set forth in the Company MPM; Performed DVI and GVI inspection according to the operator maintenance control manual requirements; Identifies and performs independent checks and RII inspections; Directly supervise the work accomplished by personnel and the signing of maintenance release; Assist in the On The Job training and instruction of personnel; Attend training courses to ensure continued qualifications; Ensure that he or she is knowledgeable of the contents of the Company policies and procedures contained in this MPM and CARs; Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time by the Supervisor.
